Backward Compatible is a games and new media journalism site I co-founded with my colleagues Richard Wirth and Jim K. Weaver. We approach our content from an academic perspective, but strive to keep the presentation casual and accessible. We do not present scored reviews in the typical sense, but instead explain our experiences with a given title and offer analysis.
My primary contributions to the site include graphic design and the recording, editing and co-hosting of most of our audio content, including two weekly podcasts.
